My gas line developed a leak on a Saturday. To make matters worse, it was the day before Easter Sunday. Another neighbor developed a leak the same day. I had gas line coverage —he didn’t. Work on my replacement began within three hours. Because of the upcoming holiday, my neighbor’s crew didn’t start until two days later. The crew that arrived at my home were two of the hardest working people I’ve met. They were very courteous and worked continuously until my line was replaced and gas service was restored in the early evening. They worked hard to ensure that everything was returned to almost original condition—including all shrubbery and excavated areas. I cannot commend the men enough. I’ve since encouraged others to get coverage. When all was complete, it didn’t cost me a cent while my neighbor paid nearly $2,000 on his line.
